HAITI EARTHQUAKE 2021
On Saturday August 14,2021 the beautiful island of Haiti again was devastated by a 7.2 magnitude earthquake hitting the southern region of Haiti specifically the communities of Les Cayes and Jeremie and surrounding communities. Thus far this earthquake has claimed 2,000 plus lives and over 10,000 injured from what we know so far and counting as recovery continues. It’s been approximately 11 years since the last devasting earthquake that hit Haiti and the Island has been plagued by various turmoil since.
NJ 4Haiti was created because of the 2010 Haiti earthquake and we have continued to provide aid and give the families in Haiti relief and hope through medical missions and support. We are raising funds immediately to help with the current relief efforts and to support our team of medical personnel currently on the ground.
We are only soliciting medical supplies and medicine to support this endeavor. Our team will include doctors, surgeons, nurses, and support staff to ensure we meet the needs. Click the link below for a list of medical supplies needed.
